Summary
Dryad Tuli Cato has three rules he lives by: No relationships, no drama, no trouble.
When a gorgeous incubus offers a night of no-strings passion, Tuli readily agrees. Only that no-strings night sure feels like a lot more.
Okay, Tuli has two rules he lives by: No drama, no trouble.
Being the sous chef at the most exclusive restaurant in town makes no drama a challenge. Especially when the kitchen’s in an uproar after a staff member turns up dead. Murdered.
Um, Tuli has one rule he lives by: No trouble.
Surely, he can stick to this 1 simple rule...except it turns out, he might be the murderer’s next target.
Incubus Kem Balthasar has only one rule he lives by: Enjoy life.
It’s a lust demon’s nature, after all. Creatures either want to be him or do him. Or maybe a bit of both.
When Kem lays eyes on a slender dryad hottie across a crowded sex club, suddenly he’s thinking of another L-word and it’s not one he ever thought he’d feel.
Okay, Kem has two rules he lives by: Enjoy life, romance Tuli.
Convincing the skeptical dryad that Kem’s a worthy—and faithful—partner is hard enough. But it’s even harder to date a guy who might wind up dead.
Right. Kem has three rules he lives by: Enjoy life, romance Tuli, and keep the little dryad safe.
Easy, right?
Demon for the Win is a 40k just-one-night, fated mates, novella set in the Much Ado about Demons world. Each book stands alone. This book contains a little black book with loads of secrets, jealous trees, night club shenanigans, and a guaranteed happily-ever-after.

Magical meet-cute
Tuli and Kem both have their respective reasons for not wanting a relationship.
Tuli is leery because he's been hurt badly in the past and Kem is just trying to live up to expectations.
When they meet, sparks fly and they can't keep their hands off each other.
There's magic, mystery, action, danger, drama and of course the author's signature snarky banter and humor.
Darcy Stark did an amazing job narrating and bringing the story to life.

Audio win!
I really enjoyed the story when it came out, actually read it after reading Nico's story. Easily can be read ad as a standalone.
Listening to Darcy Stark bring Kem and Tuli to life is an added pleasure! He has a way with accents and inflections that I got carried away to their world.
This is a fun story with a bit of a mystery, lots of heart and a lovely HEA.
A great way to enjoy the story.

Outstanding performance of a fun, fast-paced story
Must Love Demons is one of my favourite books, and it is such a treat to get to spend more time in this world. I enjoyed reading Demon for the Win last year, and I'm delighted to get to listen to it too.
As usual there's a murder, a couple of mysteries, and humour and sweetness along the way. Kem and Tuli are great characters, and it was wonderful to learn their story after meeting them briefly in In Fair Verona.
Meghan is very clever with her plotting, and it's fun to pick up on little details and wonder what future books have in store for us. I will always want more Nico and Flame, but I'll be so happy to get my hands on Az and Raaf's book. Az seems to be a very complex individual who does wrong even when he thinks he's doing right, and I look forward to finding out how that unfolds. I am here for any and all future books in this series!
Darcy Stark's work on this series has been exceptional, I could not be more impressed! It is clear that a lot of thought has gone into each voice, as they are all distinct, consistent, and perfect for each character. Shrood is a real standout! Not only that but he assigns traits by type of creature while still maintaining the individuality of each character. Taking Nico back in time was an absolute joy to listen to. While undeniably my sweet boy, Nico sounds younger and less refined. This kind of attention to detail is a real treat for listeners. I sincerely hope that Darcy considers recording more fantasy titles, he certainly has the range and depth for it!

Great characters and world building
Tuli and Kem initially seem like total opposites except for their determination to not have a relationship or fall in love. Tuli wants everything to run smoothly and according to routine in his kitchen and his life. Kem wants excitement. They think their one night will be easy to walk away from, but they are caught in an attraction neither can deny. I was amazed at how much great world building the author did in this story using the romance and the murder mystery plot both. Darcy Stark does a wonderful job creating distinct characters and making the world building and plot clear and interesting.

I absolutely loved this one - great characters and a sweet romance that melted my heart.
Darcy Stark’s performance was absolutely fantastic. He bought the characters to life and I loved how he changed his voices for different characters.
