Mafia action and steamy couple
Another powerful mafia book by Piper Stone done by the amazing Thomas Locklear. Years later hearing the audiobooks done by Thomas and I still am impressed with how many variations of voices and accents that he creates. Pipers stories are dark, and full of mystery and intrigue as well as an explosive sensual book that has one’s toes curling.
Alessandro and Sierra are that explosive sensual heat that I relate to with the combination of Piper’s writing and Thomas’s voice acting. So much happens in this mafia drama that holds your attention from beginning to end.
And it’s just the start of this new series. Not for the faint hearted.

OH the narration of Thomas Locklear, cold cloth to my neck and my toes need to be uncurled. The heat from his voice ... wow
If you do not like hot steam, books turn away now.

He was just released from prison after 4 years and Sierra’s dead fiance sent him there. He has one thought revenge. He believes Sierra will help find her finance. Ummmm well there's that 🤔
I honestly could not get into the characters. I didn't like the set up, didn't like their relationship and at the end I had too many unanswered questions.
Definitely not for me although I'm a dark romance buff.

I love these characters. With a rough start to their relationship it’s a great action packed storyline. Thomas has bought these characters alive perfectly.

Captivating
This author seems to be an expert at creating awesome plots with dark elements. It captures my imagination in such a way that I find it appealing. The stories are hard to put down once you start reading them. Additionally, the narration is excellent. The stories become even more captivating as a result.

Great dark stalker mafia romance . Sierra starting getting calls from a person she called the Dark Stranger . He told her he would be there to take her soon when Alejandro turned up she should have been terrified but her she reacted to his words and his touch.

Great all around
Some books translate well to audio and this hit the mark for me. Sierra is recovering from a tragedy & is aware someone stalking her. Alessandro has been released from prison and has had 4 years to plan his revenge. The plot was involved enough to keep my attention & follow on audio and Thomas Locklear does a great job of managing the different voices. It was a great listen, looking forward to the next book!

absolutely fantastic book.
he got some growls in.
it's always you can't beat a Piper stone book.
hot as hell,
I would recommed this book if you like mafia romance
and sacy ladies.
