About this listen
My sweet captive doesn't like to be touched. She will learn. She no longer has the right to refuse.
She flinches at the sight of my scarred face, but the way she whimpers and trembles makes perverse pleasure stir within me. I captured the little FBI agent while she was trying to take down my drug empire, and I can't allow that.
No one will ever touch her again - especially not my cruel brother.
Samantha is mine to keep and protect. Mine to play with and punish. All mine.
Contains the events of Sweet Captivity, told from the perspective of Andrés.

Almost 100% the same
It was disappointing that this book had so little original content. I expected to hear more about Andres and more about his point of view but most of the book is a word for word repetition of the previous book. Extremely disappointed. The performance was really good though.

Steamy, taboo and emotional.
In this book, the story fills in all the gaps from the first book, Sweet Captive. Even though the story is entertaining, I felt like too many dialogues from the first story were repeated and I just wanted to skip those scenes (but I didn't). Maybe if I read this long after the first book I would enjoy it more.
Love the narration. It makes the story come alive.
André and Samantha's story is captivating, steamy, taboo and emotional.

story was good
This was the same story as Sweet captivity but told from the male leads point if view. I did not really enjoy the first book, I felt that the female lead was really immature even though she was meant to be kn her 20s. This book was so much better, better written and much better performed, Joe Arden is wonderful as Andres, he brought him to life and made the story enjoyable 😉

Wow. This book is brutal
This book has a fantastic storyline. With a ruthless unlikely hero to this story I loved it. The dynamic between the main characters is full of chemistry. A fantastic performance from Joe.

same book as 1st but different POV
this book is narrated by Joe Arden and is the male POV of the the first book (sweet captivity). i found it helpful to listen to this point of view as it helped me understand the logic in the actions of the characters more. it is 20% story and the rest sex. some people will find the content triggering. the book is excellently narrated by JA

So sad!
Exellent narrating and acting. The sadest story ever, it's so tragic. I feel so sorry for the girl. She is completely destroyed and he takes away her whole personality, and brainwashed her. Horrible ending.

A Total Turnoff!
I tried to keep going with the story but there was so many things that turned me off from the very start I just had to bail.
I usually like Joe Arden as a narrator, but the accent he uses in the story was just one big, turn off. The description of Samantha was the same. Nothing sexy about either character. Sadly, there wasn't anything appealing in this one for me and the story was stale from the start.

disappointing
I thought this was a waste of my credit as it is exactly the same as book one in the series only difference is the sex of the narrator. I didn't learn anything new from this book. I feel it's a piss take when authors do this. I love Joe Arden but his Spanish accent in this narration was annoying. Absolutely disappointed.
