I liked this!!!
Calen is a club owner. His father is a mobster. He sees a fairy like woman in his club and wants to find her. She has him entranced
Maya, a student, is out searching for specimens, when she stumbles and 2’men disposing of a body. They capture her.
I liked this story and enjoyed listening very much. There was some mystery, some intrigue, and some love story.
Lucy Leroux wove a great story! And Avie Paige has a pleasant voice and made the characters come to life!

Dark Erotic Romance
Calen's Captive by Lucy Leroux is a dark erotic romance that I listened to on audio narrated by Avie Paige. This is the second book in the Singular Obsession series and can be read as a standalone.
The book does come with a caution "Though it flirts with some bondage, Calen’s Captive is not a BDSM title. Not suitable for readers under 18."
This is the first book of Lucy's that I have read and it definitely won't be my last. I really enjoyed the relationship that bloomed between Calen and Maia. Their relationship started off a bit messed up but you couldn't help but root for them.
Avie did a great job on the narration. I look forward to listening to more of her work in the future.
I would recommend this book if you like dark romance, erotic romances, or romantic suspense.

Fantastic
This was such an entertaining listen. The characters were well created and the darkness of the book was well balanced with the storyline. I loved the Mafia aspect of it and it has me hoping there is more in this world.

Calen's Captive
This is my first book in the Singular Obsession series. It was captivating and gripping. Calen's obsession came off as a bit creepy but he really was a likable character. Maia found herself in a difficult position but was lucky to find her knight in shining armor. I really enjoyed this dark romance and will be continuing on with this series. Avie Paige did a great job bringing this story to life.

Unconventional Beginning to a Beautiful Relationship
Mia has seen what she should never have seen in the forest. Fortunately, unexpected rescue comes in the form of Calen. From a rescue and willing captivity, can this tiny “nymph” find love and forever with her big, older, possessive and caring man? I loved how intensely these two loved, even before they knew they loved each other. Calen is absolutely madly head over heels for Mia, and she makes him nearly her whole world. Avie Page does a stunning job narrating this story - even the chapters in the different point of views sounded subtly different - fantastic! A superb story and a great listen.

Fairy Obsessed
Calen is obsessed with fairies and Maia looks like one. He saves her from being abused and killed. This book takes you on a journey through all they have to go through to have a relationship without having to look over their shoulder for danger.

Not your average love story
I'll admit to not reading the blurb but I assumed this story would have a bdsm theme based on the title and cover. What it actually is is a mafia love story, but not your typical love story. I really enjoyed it, especially the fact that he's rich and she's not and whilst he does buy her things and like to give her gifts its not OTT. The drama in it keeps you on the edge of your seat and the hot scenes make you swoon. The narrator was amazing, especially during hot or emotional scenes

Action packed and romantic
Calen found the woman of his dreams in his club, only he didn't know her name or who she was. Only what she looked like. He quickly tried will all of his free time to find her. Not having any luck on his own, he manages to stumble upon her when making a deal for his father with the Russians. Now that he has found her there is no way that he is ever going to let her go. It was a tense journey that I loved going through.

Calen's Captive was a good listen
I first read Calen's Captive (and other titles in this series too) a few years ago but I remembered it being a pretty good read. My opinion hasn't changed a bit. I liked Calen's obsession with his fairy, he had the cutest albeit still caveman-alpha attitude.There was no other woman for him as soon as he first set his eyes on Maia. She was innocent in every aspect of the word. I liked how Maia fit in Calen's family in spite of their antagonistic behaviour.
Avie Paige's narration was pretty good. She had good voices. The quality could have been a tad better but it still was entertaining.
