Exquisitely written dark romance
WOW!! Just wow! Broken Scars is exquisitely written, descriptive, compelling, moving, and utterly engaging. The characters are phenomenally developed, captivating with complicated emotions and complex personalities. Effortlessly, I connected with Lily and Lucas and was invested in and consumed by their story. Each had to battle and defeat the looming personal demons and a shadowy past. Their journey at times was heart-wrenching, poignant, and intense, packed with drama, unexpected twists, and turns. I'm absolutely amazed by how exceptionally riveting and touching Broken Scars was, and I'm looking forward to reading/listening to more of J.M. Walker's work.
Superb narration by Bridget Bordeaux and Scott Rose. They slipped into each character, emulating personalities and emotions, literally breathing life into them. They made the story even more engaging. Broken Scars is a brilliantly written and gripping dark romance with quality narration. I'm wholeheartedly recommending this audiobook.

Brutal realism
This audiobook has a brutal storyline. The characters show just how strong and resilient we are as trauma can overtake life. I love the honesty that has been written. A fantastic performance from both Bridget and Scott.

Loved this book so much.
Two broken souls that find each other when they needed someone. Their love was tested by those out to destroy them but true love will overcome those evils. I’m sad I left this book so long before I listened to it JM Walker is a new author to me and I will be looking for more of her books.
