Loved this book x

Love the characters and how vulnerable, sweet and endearing Niall was and How open, honest and fiesty London was.
I want more from these two. I really enjoyed the interlinking of characters from other books in the series.

NIALL STELLA yes please

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

yes & no Jonathon Cole was brilliant but Charlotte Penfields attempt at a British accent was terrible

What was one of the most memorable moments of Beautiful Secret?

Niall realizing he can have a normal relationship

What aspect of Charlotte Penfield and Jonathan Cole ’s performance might you have changed?

not letting Charlotte Penfield to do a male English accent bring back Grace Grant

Did you have an emotional reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

yes sort of

Any additional comments?

loved the beautiful books but unfortunately Charlotte Penfield ruined it for me

Book 4 in the Beautiful series and I've got to say my least favourite so far. The story is told in dual POV (my favourite), and tells the story of British boy Niall Stella (Max's brother) and Californian girl Ruby. Niall is still licking his wounds following his divorce and Ruby is struggling with her stalkerish feelings for Niall. When they are forced to spend a month long business trip in New York, lines are crossed and feelings are discussed. The writing as usual is wonderful, I did however struggle a little with the story, I had trouble relating to the characters, Niall especially. I like my men to take charge, and Niall didn't do it for me, he came across as slightly pathetic. I just wanted to scream 'man up'. Ruby also, despite her stalker tendencies, needed to take charge more with the relationship and make a decision and stick to it, I just couldn't relate to her at all.

A bit different.

This was a nice change of pace to the usual, it's almost like the roles are reversed in this installment. Although it feels a bit distant from the other books so far in the story, even with the appearances from past characters. Looking forward to seeing where this ends up in the long term.
I enjoyed it, I'll continue to follow the story.

Sadly Lacking

I love the previous books and this had potential but fell short I fell for Niall and Ruby and there story but unlike player or stranger it seemed a bit flat and then finished abruptly .However I do like Jonathan Cole as a narrator and Charlotte was good also no complaints there.
