Summary
Marnie is stuck.
Stuck working alone in her London flat, stuck battling the long afternoons and a life that increasingly feels like it's passing her by.
Michael is coming undone.
Reeling from his wife's departure, increasingly reclusive, taking himself on long, solitary walks across the moors and fells.
When a persistent mutual friend and some very English weather conspire to bring them together, Marnie and Michael suddenly find themselves alone on the most epic of walks and on the precipice of a new friendship.
But can it survive the journey?
A new love story by beloved bestseller David Nicholls, You Are Here is a novel of first encounters, second chances, and finding the way home.

Clever soft humour
There is nothing about this book that I didn’t like. It was warm, funny, relatable. I didn’t want it to end. The characters became my friends during to the expertly written narrative. Loved it.

Very enjoyable!
Smashed this in a weekend while spring cleaning my flat. Nicholls nails the female voice. Really enjoyed it.

Emotional and Entertaining
The only bad thing about this book is that it ended too soon. Loved the characters the landscape and the story. The author has such a talent in understanding human flaws and emotions.

Another gem from David Nicholls
A gentle, sweet and at moments laugh out loud love story. I enjoyed every minute. And the performance of it was perfect too.

Sublime
David Nicholls’ absolute mastery with dialogue together with exceptional narration made this the best book in years. Honestly couldn’t wait to get back to listening and felt in such safe hands, no worry about ending up disappointed.

Wonderful
Loved it - true David Nichols comedy, tragedy, and everything in between. Found the infertility issue sensitively written and of course the description of the countryside compelling.
