蜃気楼を見に、鵠沼海岸を散策する芥川と友人たち。「新時代」を発見したり、水葬された遺体についていたとおぼしき札を見つけたり。夜は妻も伴って、星明りさえ見えない砂浜を歩く。マッチの光の中に見えるものは・・・ 朗読は声優出身の大平隆史。ともすればオーバーアクションになりがちで、ナチュラルな朗読表現の獲得に相当苦労しましたが、演出=水城雄のもとでのこの芥川作品との半年近い格闘で、奥深い朗読世界に開眼。今後が楽しみな若手です。(C)アイ文庫 「ことのは出版オーディオブック作品一覧はhttp://www.kotonoha.co.jpにて」
