I didn’t know how much I have longed for a mate until I found him… I guess I should actually say them. As a healer, I have dedicated my life right now to my job. I didn’t want to find my mate yet because I didn’t want to be taken away from the thing that I love. But during the masked ball, I realize just how much I have been missing. Atlas and Elias Storme, strong warriors who are completely identical but still so different. With their silvery blonde hair, they stand out among the rest, and I just have fallen hard for them.

Everyone was afraid of him. They called him a monster. But to me, he was the one that I wanted. As a nurse, I have seen so many different kinds of wolves. But there has only been one who has remained in my mind and now, I finally have him. It all started at the Moon ball…Ares Hendrix, the “demon” of the pack with bright red eyes and a massive frame that people deem a monster. To me, he isn’t a monster. He is just misunderstood because of the way he looks. I know he is self-conscious, thinking that I’m going to hurt him as well.

During the Moon run, I have never been caught. Now, I have been ensnared in his trap. As a warrior, I don’t let myself get taken down too easy. I have never been caught by anyone and I have no intention of ever allowing it to happen. This year is different. Keaton, the Delta and recluse of the pack, has decided that I’m going to be his and he’s not going to let me go. I thought he would be a suitable mate. He’s kind and passionate.

An innocent love brings forth the passion in my heart. But I’m forbidden to feel that way towards him because he is a beast. I lost my family to a Griffin in the most savage way. Since then, I have been hunting Griffins and not daring to let anything happen. I don’t know what would come from it, but I didn’t expect him. Griffin, one of the beasts who is very handsome and innocent, knowing how to make me feel weird. I see how he looks at me even though he is afraid. He makes me realize that he isn’t one of the bad ones.

After the loss of my first mate, I thought that everything would never be the same. All it took was moving into a new home to realize that second chances do come true. Taking care of our son has been my biggest goal now. Of course, I don’t know where to go exactly from here but I’m going to continue to do my best. But a tragic moment might end up screwing me out of everything.
