Esta obra corta de Cervantes se denomina un entremés.En ella se trata de las desavenencias conyugales de tres matrimonios distintos. Esos tres matrimonios, para poder solventar sus diferencias, acuden al juez, a ver si éste considera que sus disputas son suficientemente importantes como para concederles el divorcio.Cada uno de ellos tiene motivos diferentes... alguno de ellos, completamente disparatado. También va a intervenir un procurador que intenta mediar entre ellos y el juez.Al final, la aparición de unos músicos pone un final feliz a las disputas, dejando entrever las ventajas y desventajas del matrimonio.
