We’ve all heard of lucid dreaming before, right? But what would you do if you had a dream, that was not only extremely vivid and terrifying, but later the police tell you a brutal murder had occurred just a few doors down, in an eerily similar fashion to your dream? Do you think you'd tell the police what you “Saw” in your dream? Or do you think you'd try and brush it off as mere coincidence? I mean.. Whats the worst that could happen right?

In October 1925, a young girl's body was discovered at the bottom of a mineshaft near Coxton, Kentucky. Even though the remains were practically unrecognizable, the authorities identified her as 14-year-old Mary Vickery, who had gone missing two months earlier. In March of 1926, Condy Dabney, a married father of two and former miner, was accused of her murder and quickly indicted.

Seems like an open and shut case right? Except, Mary Vickery was in fact, very much alive. And the remains that were found at the bottom of the mineshaft.. have never been identified.

During an annual show in a Nottinghamshire mining community in July 1980, hundreds of children began experiencing dizziness before they started collapsing. The official report attributing the cause to "mass hysteria". One officer described the situation as resembling a battlefield, littered with bodies. The events of that fateful Sunday afternoon at Hollinwell Showground in Kirkby-Ashfield have sparked various theories, from harmful pesticides to UFOs, but still remains a mystery to this very day.

On July 7, 1954, 12-year-old Daniel Wood Jr. left his home with a fishing pole in hand after telling his mother he was off to the Androscoggin River with a group of friends. Unfortunately, Daniel never made it back home. His body was discovered nine days later in the River. What happened to Daniel, has tormented investigators for 70 years.

In Springfield, New Jersey, 1972, a dog returned from a wooded area carrying an object in its mouth. It seemed to be a "large bone" and they let out a scream when they realized it was a human arm! The rest of the body, was found fully clothed in a small clearing atop a steep hill, lying face down, with an odd, almost ceremonial rock formation found around it. The deceased was 16-year-old Jeannette DePalma. She had been reported missing by her mother six weeks earlier. On January 6, 1979, at 6:35 a.m., Mr. Tan Kuen Chai and his wife, Lee Mei Ying, operators of a mini school bus business, left their one-room flat located on the fifth floor. Their four children were left sleeping in their beds. Somehow without any witnesses, and without leaving a trace, someone brutally murdered the children. Despite the gross brutality of the attacks, the murders have remained unsolved to this very day.
