Students read the memoir Crazy Brave by Joy Harjo and made connections between beautifully written and vivid stories recalled in the memoir to the wide topic of social norms including gender norms, toxic masculinity, body positivity, intergenerational trauma, and violence prevention. These students also include great calls to action for both young people and adults to work toward Healthy Relationships in our fight to prevent violence.
