This episode is a special one as the Indianapolis Colts JUST WON A FOOTBALL GAME FOR THE FIRST TIME SINCE DECEMBER 2023!!!!! EVEN SWEETER WE BEAT DA BEARS!!!

Yes! DUH BEARS & CALEB WILLIAMS by the final score of 21-16!!!!

This win was accompanied by a great defensive performance and master performance by some of our team's least likely stars. This as Braydyn will give more analysis as this team was consistant today as the Colts go 1-2 on the year

This episode is quick as the Indianapolis Colts lost to the Green Bay Packers to start the season 0-2 and fourth place in the AFC South to start their 2024 campaign. It was a disappointing loss against a Green Bay Packers squad without their star quarterback to start for the team. Arie5endyk (or Anthony Richardson, this is a nickname) had a decent day today with one touchdown to Alec Pierce in the fourth quarter, and a Matt Gay field goal was all she wrote.

The Colts lost today 16-10 at Lambeau Field.

The following is a class assignment for MSCH-J 300 Converged Newsroom at Indiana University where I am finishing up my final semester as a journalism major, and this is one of four assignments for this course as this will not be the last time you will see me posting videos or podcasts on this course.

A man from Bloomington is changing the perception of a 5K marathon. Seth Jones, AKA The 5K Guy, is using the 5K run not just for the physical feat, but as a platform to promote love, faith, health, and activity in a unique and inspiring way. Born in Springfield, Missouri, Jones moved to Bloomington, Indiana, where his father was a traveling pastor. Despite facing challenges during his school years and being a rebellious teen, Jones was a former high school athlete. As a swimmer at Bloomington High School North, he found a void in his life after leaving college. To fill this void, he started a revolutionary journey. Since May 2023, The 5K Guy has been sharing videos on his growing Instagram page promoting physical fitness, mental health, diet, and spirit. These experiences have brought positive changes to his life.

Jones is currently residing in the country of Brazil where he found the love of his life and is living a life outside of America, where he says many Americans like him fall in for bad habits thanks to corporations many people are living unhealthy lives.

Finally, Jones, also known as the "5K guy," thinks about Bloomington sometimes but cannot wait to leave the city and start a new life for himself and, one day, his family. His life goals are vast, such as starting an online training course and receiving a TV contract, but he has a message to send to those struggling: that one day they can succeed.

He resides in Brazil but grew up in Bloomington, Indiana after moving from Springfield, Missouri. He was once a high school athlete who lived a challenging childhood before starting the challenge. This episode is quick as the Indianapolis Colts lost to the Houston Texans on September 8, 2024, 29-27 at Lucas Oil Stadium. This broadcast will also be featured on the American Student Radio Sports Network as we hope to expand this to our channel soon. This is a first as we helped WIUX broadcast the Indiana Hoosiers vs. Florida International University Panthers football game on August 31, 2024, as the Hoosiers would beat the Panthers 31-7 in their first game of the season and Coach Curt Cignetti got his first win as the Hoosiers coach.

On the call was Braydyn Lents as he was play-by-play, color, and analyst while eating and enjoying the game in his chair.

Let's not forget the unforgettable 2024 Little League World Series game between Chinese Taipei and Lake Mary, FL. This game was nothing short of spectacular, featuring a cast of characters and other elements that made both the Florida team great and the Chinese Taipei team struggle. It was akin to the US defeating the USSR or Appalachian State beating Michigan, marking itself as one of the biggest upsets in Little League sports history. Before heading back to school tomorrow, I wanted to make sure I shared an episode about this incredible event, so it doesn't fade from memory. Congratulations to Lake Mary, Florida for winning the Little League World Series this year, and best of luck to everyone as they return to school in the fall.

From producer, Braydyn Lents, this episode was recorded in May 2021 for a class project this is Part 1/2 of the fifth-year celebration as I will graduate from college this fall and I am celebrating this triumphant achievement with a sports podcast since business has been slow with "Keeping Things In The Middle". This podcast talks about the creation of "This is Indiana" which became a love affair for Hoosiers and IU alumni alike after one win versus Kentucky in 2011 and how both the artist and the song helped put the song to new heights. This podcast was supposed to air back at my VU days on Blazer 91.1 FM in Vincennes in 2021, but it never got onto the air.

This story will take you to places never seen or heard in the mainstream media when one mentions math and education. Even my little sister tells me about how bad her school is and I rolled my eyes before seeing what this journey was really about for students in the 21st Century in a post-pandemic world. We followed IU math tutor, Scott Salak, who mentors at-risk students on math and science equations for what will be 31 years at the helm this year at the downstairs part of the 21st Century Scholars office near the outskirts of the IU Bloomington campus. He is widely respected in a world where this field has been desolate and deflating with no hope or hopeful future ahead for his profession.

This story dives into how math has become American education's lost arch of greatness, the American math system. It also dives into human character as Salak performed in a bluegrass band before becoming a tutor, and his impact on students is musically a condition to succeed and do your best even in a topic you are not good at. This story instruments the arts of math and human interest and I was shocked after posting this article to my Substack and Medium blogs on winter break that more people should cover this story as it goes beyond the headlines and describes math in a poetic form.
