  • What is the greatest cause of atheism in the world today? When I first was converted from a lifestyle and worldview of atheism in July of 2000 One of the first Christian bands that I heard was DC Talk. The song “what if I stumble“ had a x Priest that had a strange background and ultimately a problem with alcohol abuse give his perspective on the question at hand. There was a recording of him speaking on his thoughts of atheism. He makes the comment that the greatest single cause of atheism in the world today is actually….. christians. I completely disagree, but I do understand his perspective. Certainly hypocrites are a reason why people like atheist mock Christianity. Also admittedly it would be one of the causes why many people to turn away from Christ and the message of the gospel. However the statement is basically that hypocrites are the single greatest cause. That is where I disagree with Mr. Manning. Let’s see what the word of God has to say about this. Since the greatest authority has already spoken about why men can reject and ultimately rebel against God. Key Text Romans 1
