Where are the charts?
What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?
An extremely high-level and very quick talk on her analysis of a few charts, adding to the fray midpoints and solar arcs. She constantly refers to lists and graphs and midpoints which she has drawn up yet are not provided in the audiobook! How can one reasonably follow the ramblings of a knowledgeable person without this critical information? I also found her background information into the basics of establishment of the various lists and charts to be minimal and insufficient and she makes the basic assumption that the listener already has extensive knowledge and understanding of the topics mentioned above.
My advice would be that if you are a beginner and seeking a basic course or understanding, dont listen to these books, they will frustrate you. To understand these talks, a thorough understanding of all basics are required, as well as concepts of solar arcs, and midpoint analysis.
What could Lauren Delsack have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?
Talk slower, explain more, or alternatively make it very clear at the beginning of the talk that these are not for entry-level students.
How did the narrator detract from the book?
A lot of facts, presented way too quick and having to constantly pause the listening to make notes and absorb information is tedious.
