Summary
With every day that passes, the Dark Overlord grows stronger.
For Ordinal to be safe, he must be stopped. As Windfall's army grows, so does the hope that Jim will prevail.

Hilarious!
This whole series is pure gold. I have never loled so much listening to anything bookwise so far and every chapter is a constant revelation of "insert i understood that reference meme here" moments. So now the horrible wait for the next instalment begins and it sux hairy badgerballs.

Glad to have it, but not the best
Great fun overall, but the pacing is rushed in places leaving out possible character interactions, while overdoing it on other places.
Series had never been massively self consistent, but things like forgetting the merged arcane rune locksmith skill, for example, just speak to carelessness. But I guess you can just put 'badger' on everything, break the 4th wall and make a sex/bdsm joke and that'll fix everything.
