Summary

Brought to you by Penguin.

A thrilling instalment in the globally bestselling Women's Murder Club series.

Trouble always finds the Women's Murder Club.

Sergeant Lindsay Boxer, Medical Examiner Claire Washburn, Assistant District Attorney Yuki Castellano, and crime writer Cindy Thomas are celebrating at San Francisco's finest restaurant.

But before they can raise their glasses to both a birthday and a wedding, a violent assault interrupts their festivities.

Claire examines the victim. Lindsay makes an arrest. Yuki takes the case. Cindy covers it.

The case is complicated by the plaintiff's unreliable version of events - and the shocking reason behind her ever-changing memory.

As Yuki argues the toughest case of her career, Lindsay chases down a high-society killer whose target practice may leave the Women's Murder Club short a bridesmaid...or two.

Can't wait for 25

I love every single one in the series. I'm disappointed always at the end, wanting the story to continue. The ending was so lovely and the murders kept me wondering "who done it". Didn't expect the killer to be who it was - don't want to give any spoilers. What can I say, like always James & Maxine were amazing!!!

Love the series but something missing

I Love the books and could not wait for this book.
Overall i liked the book, however there was something missing.
I did not feel lost in the story there was to much going on taking away from main story and the other story in the background was interesting but ended quick and i felt little lazy.
the main killer i thought was to easy as i guessed soon as they really mentioned the killer.
However as a fan I'm still looking forward to a new instalment.

Very poor.

Have read all women’s murder club books and looked forward to this one.
However the story was weak - it was obvious who the killer was way before the end and even the red herring - Padre, was pointless and went nowhere.
Although I will read the next book in the series when written I certainly won’t be waiting with baited breath for it to be published

not his best work

A predictable plot, it didn't have Pattersons usual gripping energy and certainly didn't leave me wanting the next book release. sadly this is the 3rd book in this series that I've felt this way about.
