Summary

When Midas and his crew of paranormal investigators take on the Historic Oakleigh Mansion they assume they'll encounter a few residual haunts but they're completely wrong. Besides the standard Lady in Black sightings and the sounds of crying children, a newer more modern entity threatens the Mobile landmark. The paranormal activity escalates in the cookhouse and an evil presence hides in a hidden room. When Midas enters the forgotten space he meets a spirit he'll never forget.

A great series, but again this one seems slightly off kilter…

As I have said previously, this is an excellent series. Perfect for fans of supernatural/mystery stories. The core set of characters plus the ‘special guests’ are great, and the narrators also do a fab job. In my option however something still seems ‘off’ in this episode. As per the last book, the team are still coming to terms with the aftermath of the Leaf Academy investigation. I just felt there were a lot of loose ends left unexplained at the end of the book (no spoilers though!). Maybe they will be part of an ongoing story in coming books?
Have already downloaded the next one! Would definitely recommend the series.
