Loved it!

Absolutely loved Barbara's character and also Tuckers. Really interesting back stories going on here.I can see this becoming a film or TV series. Alex Borstein would be anazing playing the protagonist. Also an open ended finish making way for a series of books. Can't wait for the next one. Great work CJ Tudor.

Excellent

Really enjoyed listening to this.
The story was dark & creepy. Enough to keep me listening every day.
The narrator was good.
The atmosphere of the town & inhabitants was fab. Could just imagine it.

Got its teeth stuck in me and wouldn’t let go!

I’ve loved every CJ Tudor book I’ve read so far, and I think this might be my favourite of hers. She’s able to make such interesting worlds and I love her genre mashups. She’s quickly becoming the queen of the horror/thriller/fantasy genre. This is a must-read/listen if you’ve liked Tudor’s other books!

Best yet from CJ Tudor

Great story and narration.

Love all her books, this one feels a bit like a Stephen King.

Well written

Story didn’t go anywhere

This did not feel like a horror book at all. No real suspense or massive story line, just felt the story didn’t go anywhere and the ending was boring. Sorry, I’ve loved all other books, just not this one.

Little drawn out

Felt like some aspects were repeated and drawn out
I have enjoyed CJ Tudors work but this one wasn’t for me.
