Old But Still Brilliant!
The voice performance was pretty good.👍
Was good to listen to the story again on the antihero of the Dark Elves.
And man this book does not disappoint at all!

Great story, superb narration
As good as Warhammer fiction gets. The narration is top class, exactly as you would expect Malus to sound.

Captivating narration
I first read The Daemon's Curse a few years ago and since then Malus has become my favourite character. I preordered this audiobook from the Black Library website and was just thrilled listening to it. The narrator does a good job of doing evil Druchii voices and gives a varied range of diffirent UK accents and various types of voices to the characters so you get a feel for their personalities.
The plot is good, basic hack and slash classic fantasy style action/adventure book. A little repetitive in places and in some scenes I'm not entirely sure what actually happened such as the chapter where Malus presents his gifts or lack there of to his Father.
I'd like there to have been more romance between Malus and Lhunara but apart from that it's a fun and dark read which all fans of warhammer could enjoy.

Brutal and sadistic
Fantastic reading for Malus, played out exactly as I imagined him.
Can’t wait for the next one to come out. Wish they would put a timeline on.

Dark Elf lordling has a rough couple of weeks
Really enjoyed this. Dark Elf lordling finds himself in a spot of bother up in the Chaos Wastes. Fast-paced with insights into Dark Elf and Beastman lore. The story has a quick, 80s fantasy vibe, but never feels rushed. Great narration from AJS too. I hope further volumes are released soon for those of us desperate for a fix of Old World nostalgia.

Brilliant Start
Great first book. The narrative nails the smite of Malice with every curse against world. Looking forward to the next door. Wish they would release more Dark Elf stories from the Old world.
