great storyline, not sure bout the main characters
I find the main characters unlikeable for quite a few chapters of this book. I struggled to actually continue listening as, they were annoying me so much. I kept listening however cause, the storyline is fantastic and I have to know how it ends

A crown of million gilded stars for this story!
I bow before Queen JLA and her talent to create this unique world and characters. If you thought FBAA and AKOFAF were spectacular, epic, amazing, addictive, phenomenal, etc... I would say they were just a warm-up.
TCOGB was mind-blowing. I have no other words, cause my mind is still all over the place. And I can't come up with something good enough to fully describe my emotions over this book. MINDBLOWING doesn't even cover it! So brace yourself, dive in and get lost inside this story! I simply didn't want to leave.
I lived and breathed this world while I devoured this book. It swallowed me completely. It's everything I want in a book and then some. The characters were so complex and multilayered. I connected so much with each one of them. Even the secondary ones and the bad guys were so well described and such colorful additions to this world. I felt each of their emotions and fell in love with this story even more.
The audio was so well done, narrated with so much intensity and attention to every single emotion played, that I felt like I was watching a movie playing in my head.
The dynamic of the action, the twists, the plotlines that were expanding and just blowing each of my theories into dust. My head was spinning with everything happening. The fights were epic, the creatures were coming out of the pages in full color in front of my eyes, the passion was off the charts hot, but still front and center were the emotions. They gripped me by the throat and never let go the whole book. It can't be described. It has to be felt.
I'm absolutely amazed by JLA's imagination and ability to create such worlds. This story completely ruined me for everything else in the genre and put the bar so high. To cut it short, TCOGB would make your heart explode with emotions, warm you inside, give you anxiety attacks, make you laugh, swoon, cry and utterly blow your mind. The audio interpretation was absolutely as brilliant as well.

Steamy but Stretchy
Hot hot hot! Fell asleep in the middle with the complex politics and history, but the last 10 chapters were fun and feisty. Great banter and Stina depicted each character with so much love, lust and loathing that it made me smile. Great job ladies!
