Summary
Meet Stella Batts. She's in third grade, she wants to be a writer, and her parents own a wonderful candy shop. Life should be good, right? And now she's back and ready to start writing her eighth book about her favorite subject - her life! In Superstar, Stella gets the chance to audition for her favorite television show, Superstar Sam, after a casting director spots Stella out for dinner with her family. He said she is perfect for the role. Stella rehearses her lines until she knows the part by heart. Her little sister, Penny, is jealous, but sometimes older sisters get to do things little sisters can't. But the audition doesn't go as planned. Stella was sure she had the part. Now, will she ever get a chance to show her acting skills and meet her favorite actress?

The real life of acting:
Love the book and the characters but something annoyed me soo much that I have to put it in this. The things that are written is not what happens with acting and I know because I’m an actor. Now normally casting directors don’t walk up to you and ask you to be in something - the odds of that happening are one in a million maybe even impossible. Also , they don’t often change the whole entire plot as these scripts have been made and checked by the author and gone through lots of tests. There not just gonna take it away and change it in a day or so. You also have to be in an acting agency and you also have to suffer through reflection. They take it way to serious , it happens to me on a daily basis. I do like the book but this is not my go to one out of the series but you should read it if you don’t think as deeply

I love the enthusiasm and creativity in this book it is fun 🤩 and entertaining and this inspirational book will inspire me to read and write more books I am a big huge fan of reading and writing and making up my own stories I also like listening to books during long car rides and night time 🕰️ and this book seems to be perfect for me . Superstar Sam / talia is very talented and flexible same as me this book shows confidence cooperation kindness and a bit of faith and independence it contains a lot of information about Stella and acting Stella and super star Sam seem similar and very unique it has details there is good description and adjectives it is nice how Stella even tho she was sad it wasn’t her for the part at first she was supporting for her little sister penny . It id sweet
When Stella gives Joshua the peace of fudge she did owe him a lot i love this book great author Cortney Sheinmel well done congratulations keep writing books for girls and boys small and big so they can keep happy that’s all I have to say I just hope if you read my review you will listen to the book 📕 I just hope you know that I love this book ❤️❤️❤️
