My least favourite of the Thrawn series.
I'm a huge Thrawn fan. the previous Thrawn trilogy was excellent. this new trilogy seems a little weaker and this story didn't feel very impactful. Necessary listening for any Thrawn fan, but I don't think you'll be on the edge of your seat.

A New addition to the Expanding StarWars Universe
Praise for Timothy Zahn.
A direct sequel to his previous. A fantastic expedition into the Chiss, and the new Expanded Universe. Building towards a new extragalactic threat, it feels like Star Wars finding its soul again.

Another excellent book from Timothy Zahn. Thrown is quite simply brilliant. Best protagonist in the star wars universe for years. Can’t wait for book 3

Not as good as the first.
Still overall an enjoyable read, builds on the Thrawn legend. However it just didn't quite reach the heights of the first novel. The performance was excellent.
