Summary
Best Thriller Books' Selection
In Sons of Valor III: War Machine, Chunk and Whitney are forced into a deadly match of wits with a terrorist mastermind and a terrifying weapon unlike anything they’ve ever encountered.
After a shootout in Dubai left Hamza al-Saud dead and elevated brilliant aeronautical engineer Qasim Nadar to hero status in England, everyone assumes the terrorist threat from al Qadar has been eliminated. Everyone except JSOC counterterrorism analyst Whitney Watts. But when she decides to help MI6 penetrate Nadar’s secret network, Watts gets a little too close to the truth and finds herself in a deadly situation not even her teammates from Tier One can save her from.
As Lieutenant Commander Keith “Chunk” Redman and the rest of Tier One fan out across London in search of Watts, Nadar prepares to unleash his most dangerous weapon yet—an advanced drone with artificial intelligence and stealth technology. To stop a horrifying attack on London, Chunk and his Navy SEAL brethren must seek help from an unexpected ally and find a way to stop a war machine that was designed to be unstoppable.

What an end to what a series.
Great audio book that hept me in suspense throughout the whole book. Although you need to start with the first book in the series.

What can I say other than brilliant
Last in the trilogy I think and it did a fantastic job of pulling the characters and previous stories together.
I have been waiting for this to be released on audible, and it was definitely worth the wait.
I think that this is the best of the series (and the other ones were brilliant).
Worth every penny and the wait
A must listen series. Highly recommended

Highly recommended
Former frogmen Andrews & Wilson have written a superb story that's simple, charming, at times almost tear-jerking, and always ass-kicking.
While I also love their Tier One series (set in the same world and with an occasional cross-over character), Sons of Valor has the edge.
The plot itself isn't complicated but nonetheless interesting, and is woven through a number of characters, all very believable and many of whom have a significant role to play. The humour and camaraderie of the SEALSs places this above the Tier One books, I actually had to google a children's song pranked by Chunk's team-mates in the first book, which left me laughing too. I felt great sadness about the loss of one character in this third book and changed my initially hostile attitudes about two others as the story developed. I was annoyed that another two didn't get the come-uppance they deserved for their arrogant stupidity but that just shows how involved I became. Yes, I was easily sucked into the narrative, which escalated to a crescendo not far different from a James Bond story but lacking the suspended belief required of Fleming and Broccoli's creations.
The narrator does an excellent job. I am a Brit and loved the British accents (a Manchester accent however sounded slightly Irish!), though I accept that the Brits often come across as stereotypes, though with one main exception.
As the story finished, I expected it to come down a notch or two, but boy was I wrong. The final chapter is poignant, well-written and took me by surprise. Had it been slightly different, it would have been nauseous. And then there was a touching epilogue which made me want to cry out to the authors "Don't you dare make this the last".
If you like Jack Ryan type stories, well, this is even better. Thanks to the authors for a great series of books. And thanks to the narrator for making them come alive so perfectly.
