Great for teachers and general mindset for kids

I am a teach by trade and am always looking for books that can give me ideas to help my students focus and perseverance in an age of instant gratification and short attention span media. Initially got this book because I thought it could help with the basketball team I run but quickly into this book I realised that the techniques in this book could be adapted to all parts of a students live and learning. This book help me understand a child/teenagers mind more, it reminded me of when I was a teenager, driven by ego taking everything personally and behaving badly to mask my lack of confidence. I found the stuff on perseverance and on building confidence the most useful as that is the skill that will help children not just athletically or academically but as social creatures too.

Great for a winning mindset

This audiobook was easy to listen to, full of great tips, and encouraging. I like the focus on mindset and positive thinking, as well as the affirmations to help solidify the confidence in the athlete's mind. There is also a strong message of relaxation that is missing in many "winning mindset" books. The techniques in this book will help any young athlete move forward in their sports career and be the best- physically, mentally, and emotionally- that they can be. Holistic and helpful.
