Summary
Forty-one-year old Cassandra Mackerel is loved up and happily remarried to new husband Jamie. Together they have a ready-made family and a six-month-old baby boy. Juggling her own children with stepchildren and an infant is both hectic and stressful, especially with a mother-in-law who seems to have taken up permanent residence. The last thing Cass needs is the reappearance of husband Jamie’s ex-girlfriend Selina.
Gorgeous and glamorous but utterly unstable, Selina once stalked Cass and contrived to split her and Jamie up. And now Selina is engaged to Jamie’s business partner, Ethan Fareham. Seemingly it is appalling coincidence. Cass can’t shake the feeling that Selina is up to her old tricks. And she's right to be worried. For if Selina has her way, she’ll split Cass and Jamie up permanently.

Brilliant 4 Stars 🌟🌟🌟🌟
I love Debbie Viggiano 's books they are always Chicklit action packed books.
The only thing that annoyed me was Cass' husband Jamie didn't believe her, in real life your husband will stick by you if you tell him your gut instinct because it's always right. When you marry someone you are vowing to believe the person you are marrying.
I laughed out loud many times listening to this book, the kids, the girl pal and their escapades were brilliant, I couldn't stop listening. I knew Selina was a nasty, spiteful witch.
I noticed the the narrator pronounced 'Selina' like a Saline drip, so it sounded like Say-lina at times apart from that the narrator was really good.
I do recommend listening to this book as It is brilliant and it is free in the plus catalogue

a great mixture of pleasure
I really enjoyed this book, and having been a follow up story it meant I knew the characters so it blended nicely. Not only a story on every day relationships but also a little sleuthing involved, all in a light hearted manner. well worth a listen though. It would be nice for another book to have followed.

So silly but worth the laugh
The story is so far fetched and silly but created total escapism just when I needed it. If a book makes you laugh and cry then it’s a winner.
So happy it was included though because I would have returned it if I’d used a credit because the whining narrative was a bit hard to listen to at points. Definitely not my favourite narrator
