Summary
Safety is an illusion. Security is only a fleeting sense. Peace is a myth.
Steve and the other survivors in the UK have rebuilt and healed after the brutal end to the reign of Richards. But removing a dictator was only the beginning....
Years after a mistake of compassion and humanity, an enemy thought long gone returns to bring down a rain of violence and terror the likes of which they have never seen before.
Their society, a peaceful one of trade and cooperation, has moved on from the bloody aftermath of the collapse, but that evolution blunts their teeth to be able to combat the new threat.
The call to return to the rainy shores of England is strong for Dan and his fearless accomplices, so they return home to do what they do best: bring justice to a lawless world.

Great series
RC Bray is the man...the only criticism I have is the way he says carbine (carbeen) and adrenaline (adreenaline) in this book..I don't know why but it really grated me hahaaaaa. Come on RC...sort it out dude!

Really enjoying this Series
The tall of the UK group after Richerds overthrow. Interesting how some people work to improve the groop and everyone work as a whole and others try to take advantage of anyone and everything. Much like real life but without a Dan and Ash to help. Enjoying the Leah story ark and the other characters past and present.that have got us to this point.

Dan and Ash still kick backsides.
Loved it, rounds off their story with an epic, tense and laugh out loud funny tale. I loved the original series, and the two Leah based books but this is DCFs fi est work.

Another awesome installment in the AIH series
This is another great installment in the AiH series. Great to be back in the UK with some familiar old faces.
Some of the best 1 liners I've heard "Negative toastrider the pattern is full"

Another fantastic story
Though I was not sure that we would be gifted with another story of Dan from the After It Happened series, when I heard it was coming, I awaited eagerly. It did not disappoint.
This story has all the grit and adventure of the others, but with some really enjoyable humour that made me laugh out loud.
You do not need to have read or listened to the previous books to enjoy this, but I am sure you will want to after.
Thanks Devon, you are a champion for sharing this story.
Oh and RC Bray does a great job... As always!

the best series out there an this books another cherry Dan's and Ash ride again !!!
blistering action and so well written an just flows effortlessly from start to finish with a few leg tears thrown in from the laughs

Please let there be more
R. C Bray is by far the best narrator out there, add one of the best series I've listened to in a long time. Character attachment from the very beggining, I cant recommend this book and series high enough.
