Summary
Ever since Tanz discovered she could speak with the dead, life became a whole lot more interesting. But after putting herself in grave danger helping to solve a grisly murder, she’s determined to ignore the voices and put all that nasty business behind her.
So when she’s offered another acting gig in her hometown of Newcastle, it feels like a perfect opportunity to spend some time with family and have a laugh with old friends.
But the dead won’t stay quiet for long. Soon Tanz is being drawn back into their world, and this time, the danger is much closer to home...
Gin Palace is the second book in Tracy Whitwell’s hilarious and spooky Accidental Medium series.

Funny, warm and engaging! Tanz is back
I really enjoyed this sequel and found it better than the first book. The characters are becoming more rounded and Tracy's narration was brilliant, again she really brings them to life.
The storyline was a rollercoaster of emotions and lines you up nicely for the net instalment. Can't wait!

Another cracker !
Second in series, every bit as entertaining as the first.
Set in Newcastle for the most part this time, using a well known location as a pivotal plot component.
Narrator (author) excellent, large and diverse cast rendered easy to follow.
On to the next....

Another excellent read
If I could give extra stars for performance I would. I have been gripped by these characters for another adventure. Can’t wait to see what the third book holds!

Gets under your skin
When I started listening to the first book in this series, I wasn't sure I was going to like it. The character of Tanz was a bit clunky and stereotypical. However, as the story went on it was like getting to know a real person that you were unsure of at first and who subsequently becomes a good friend. I have enjoyed the matter-of-fact approach to the supernatural and Tanz's ecclectic group of friends and family - living and dead. Now I've finished the second book, I miss her. She got under my skin and I can't wait for the next book.

Love it. Gets under your skin
I just can't get enough of Tanz. After finishing the first book, I just had to listen to this one. Both books are so well written that they get under your skin. It's very easy to visualise the story while listening, it's easy to follow and the narration is spot on. I'm gonna miss Tanz until the next book comes out.
