Summary

Tonight, travel with Candace Parker deep into the Appalachian mountains to visit one of the most famous homes in the world: Frank Lloyd Wright’s Fallingwater.

Candace Parker is an entrepreneur, an activist, a two-time Olympic gold medalist, and one of the most decorated women’s basketball players of all-time with two WNBA MVP Awards. Off the court, Parker is a bold, insightful, and inspiring thought leader who is passionate about the importance of women’s rights, voters’ rights, and Black Lives Matter.

Bedtime stories are narrated by the world's most celebrated voices and written with no beginning, middle, or end so you don't stay up to hear what happens next. They're interesting enough to give your mind something to focus on but delivered in a way that encourages sleep.

This title is part of The Audible Sleep Collection, exclusive audio experiences created to help you fall asleep, stay asleep, and wake up in the right morning mindset. New and free for members.

interesting but put off by narrator

i found it interesting enough to look it up but found the narrator's style to be off putting enough that i couldn't finish it. it was delivered in an authoritarian tone almost like an order.

Interesting

I clearly was more curious about the details in this story to fall asleep soon after it was read but I really enjoyed it and found it interesting. Thank you!

not very good.

The author seemed unaware of other similar philosophical architects of the era, against whom Frank Lloyd Wright compares unfavourably, or other great architecture. The interesting part was the description of walking around, noticing details not well documented in other sources.
The narrator did not seem to have come across some of the words before, and did not pause at breaks in the narrative, but when she needed a breath. So it sounds like listening to a pre-school child reading.
