How it all begins!

The brotherhood of a motorcycle club along with the alpha males always is a draw for me. Jeanne St. James writes this story with a group of men with a strong bond, a very protective alpha male and a strong-willed yet vulnerable heroine giving this MC book all the qualities it needs to keep me listening! Zak is fresh out of jail after serving 10 years for a crime he didn't commit. Sophie is delivering the cake to the clubhouse for his celebration. And from there we begin a steamy, stormy, push-pull of a relationship. St. James weaves together the feeling of instant love with this couple, and how the stigma and danger of a motorcycle club can effect the couple. Authors always give vulnerability to characters, but I was entranced with the way that Zak, this super over protective, sexy, strong, alpha male is brought to his knees by his love for Sophie. You can feel his emotions running, and it is refreshing! I also love the family feel of the members, they always had each other's back and sets up our future stories of this series. I am looking forward to getting to know the others better!(and I hope that Zak's brother though not a member has his story too!)

This dually narrated book will make your heart smile. Ava Luca is amazing as Sophie. She gives Sophie an innocence in the beginning that is totally believable, and as she becomes Zak's woman, the change in her is evident just with the voice. She is confident and strong, and Lucas easily translates this with her inflections. Sean Crisden as Zak is the perfect fit. His smooth as silk voice gives Zak an alpha feel, a definite leader from the minute he comes in. Together Lucas and Crisden flow with passion and the chemistry with Zak and Sophie is unbeatable. Loved this dual narration!

Excellent narration

After realising that this whole series was on audible I promptly bought all 12 books that’s how confident I was that I’d enjoy them, I started reading this author when she was still writing the series but had only written the first 3 books which was quite some time ago ... I loved Zak and Sophie first time round but I enjoyed them more this time, I’d forgotten the humour, mostly from Sophie, her thought process wen deciding wether or not to give into zac the first time had me giggling in public whilst out walking, a got a few odd looks and I don’t even care, great introduction to the series and Im looking forward to reading the rest of them.
I’ve listened to a number of books that have been ruined by unsuitable voices for the characters, not so with this book, the narrators were perfectly suited to the characters they were portraying, so much so that I think I enjoyed the audible even more than actually reading the book and I don’t say that often.
Highly recommend

get ready to fall in love!

read the whole series of DAMC books but listening to them... is just wow! narrators are amazing. really puts that extra bit of life into the story if thats even possible. and jeanne, the way she writes just has you hooked from the get go, has such a talent in bringing each character to life as well as setting the scene so easily but in such great detail, when i read her books its like watching a film! My fav part has to be the way Sophie makes Z work hard to win her over and he doesn't give up on her, a real alpha male with a soft centre for the women he wants and the steamy scenes... my oh my! is all i can say!

Fall in love with a biker

I loved the narrators, I feel in love with the Dirty Angels. A brilliant start to a great series.

I loved Zak, all tough , but so much love to give.

love this series..getting down and dirty

love the series but find it a little off putting when the woman speaks for the man and the other way round....but still loved the story and the characters. on to the next one.

Wow! Zak & Sophie...

this book was recommended to me by someone in a book page on fb. so glad she did! it's the first book that I've read in a while where I was reading way to late and when I wasn't reading it I was thinking about reading it. loved the storyline and no repetitive repeating of words like I've found alot of books to have. I loved this book and their story.
