Summary

What if your whole world was a lie?

The thrillingly dark conclusion to the No. 1 New York Times bestselling DIVERGENT trilogy.

What if a single revelation – like a single choice – changed everything?
What if love and loyalty made you do things you never expected?

The faction-based society that Tris Prior once believed in is shattered – fractured by violence and power struggles and scarred by loss and betrayal. So when offered a chance to explore the world past the limits she's known, Tris is ready. Perhaps beyond the fence, she and Tobias will find a simple new life together, free from complicated lies, tangled loyalties, and painful memories.

But Tris's new reality is even more alarming than the one she left behind. Old discoveries are quickly rendered meaningless. Explosive new truths change the hearts of those she loves. And once again, Tris must battle to comprehend the complexities of human nature – and of herself – while facing impossible choices about courage, allegiance, sacrifice and love.

Told from a riveting dual perspective, Allegiant, by #1 New York Times best-selling author Veronica Roth, brings the Divergent series to a powerful conclusion while revealing the secrets of the dystopian world that has captivated millions of readers in Divergent and Insurgent.

oopppsss disappointing....

Would you try another book written by Veronica Roth or narrated by Emma Galvin and Aaron Stanford?

Yes the first 2 books were much better written and better story lines

Would you be willing to try another book from Veronica Roth? Why or why not?

Maybe if something new comes up

Did Allegiant (Divergent, Book 3) inspire you to do anything?

No, it really felt like a filler. first 2 books seemed to fill well with a full story, this one just seemed to be a filler until the end of the book came.

Any additional comments?

Get the 3 books as enjoyable in all but book 3 really seemed to lack the story of the first 2 books and was a bit of hard work to keep concentration to the end.

Well worth a read

As a fan of the films, I knew I had to give the books a listen - I was not disappointed. As the original story, you get the all the back fill and context that is missing in the films. Also bear in mind that the films do not complete the story, so the full series is a must to get the whole storyline

Overdue listening :)

Finally got round to listening to these after watching the film years ago. I remember hearing that the last film was supposed to a 2 parter and hated that I didn’t really know how it was meant to end.. no spoilers, but I’m glad to finally know and I really like the addition of fours voice to the story.

Amazing but the saddest book I’ve ever read

Didn’t stop crying for 3 hours at the end of this book and I don’t cry at fictional books or films ever so this was really incredible

A bit disappointing

Least favourite book of the series - seemed a bit slow to get into and definitely not as gripping as the first two books.

Disappointed

Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?

I struggled to get into this book. Found the story disjointed unless u count the continuous arguing

If you’ve listened to books by Veronica Roth before, how does this one compare?

The first of these books seemed to be the best for story content

Which scene did you most enjoy?

The end was surprisingly the best

Was Allegiant (Divergent, Book 3) worth the listening time?

I got this book purely because I had bought the first

Slow unto about ¾ to the end.

Too much emotional analysis. Good ending just took a long time to get there. On the whole I enjoyed it, but only just.
