Very Good

This is a great resource for anybody because I think it is important that everyone has a great understanding of ADHD, What makes this audiobook so good in my opinion is how every single complex topic is explained in such simple terms. After listening, I am now aware of the typical behaviors of people with ADHD, what are the common triggers that set them off, how to diffuse bad reactions and what it takes to be a great carer for somebody with ADHD.

Wisdom, understanding, and real-world answers

This book is a great help for parents like me struggling with teenagers with ADHD. It is full of insights in a way that makes everything clearer, it helps us understand ADHD better, sorting fact from fiction and guiding us through the maze of symptoms and diagnosis. But what really touched my heart is how it emphasizes our teens' strengths. It shows us how to embrace their uniqueness and gives us tools to help them succeed. The discussion on treatment options is fair and informative to help our kids' well-being. It is also packed with practical advice, from handling stress to nurturing good relationships. The personal stories in the book made me feel less alone and more connected with others facing the same challenges.

Great explanations and guidance

As a mom of 2 kids with ADHD, the author explains what ADHD is and how it affects our kids. One of the hardest things about ADHD as a parent is understanding what it is and how we can best support our children. Several things can be a challenge with a child who has ADHD, and it can be very frustrating to just want your child to do it like everyone else does it. What I have learned is you need to take your expectations and throw them out the window, get to know your child better, and then start to make plans together as far as expectations.

The author provides a book that is well organized and full of information but not in an overwhelming way. Great job to this author for trying to help us parents who have neurodiverse children.

Great guidance and information

ADHD can be so frustrating and complex. This book does an excellent job of breaking down the myths and truths in an easy to understand way.

Standing against the stigmas and the section on artificial flavors and sugar really captured my attention.

I recommend this book.
